40 mg for 2 weeks

Hi all, I have been on prozac before, was on it for five years and was doing well until I forgot my pprescription and didn't take it for about a week, anyway during that time my ha came back, I restarted it regular 20 mg for a week but was feeling worse, so Dr increased it to 40mg, I have been on 40 for 2 weeks now but still feel horrible, any advice would be appreciated xx
