Stomach/Back trouble

I have recently (past month) I've been having stomach pain/ tensing in my upper abdomen right below my rib cage. Dr thinks it reflux & put me on a few meds to help. The meds do nothing to relieve the pain so I'm thinking maybe another symptom of anxiety? The pain feels better If I press on it like hold my abdomen & kind of push in. I also have this pain in my mid back as well. I've had CT scan of abdomen & ultrasound of gall bladder, pancreas & liver...all normal. Also blood work was all normal. Some days it's so painful & I get nausea & then lightheaded.
I feel like the Drs think I'm crazy because I keep telling them I'm in pain...I mentioned anxiety to them & no one thinks it is. I'm not so sure after reading other people's syptoms here.

Hi Mary....I'm having identical symptoms as you....all started after a stomach virus just before xmas....Dr has put me in touch with a counsellor to chat with....I'll let u know how I get on...Mark

Thanks for your response. I'm still suffering with my stomach/abdominal symptoms. I have a phone consult with a Gastroenterologist next week. I have good days & bad days. I really just want to know if it's something serious. My GP has been treating me for reflux but the medicines don't seem to be helping so I hope that with a specialist I can get more answers. If it's anxiety related I can deal with that too but I'd just like some answers.
