Colitis or just ibs ??

I've been in agony now for 2 weeks with real bad abdomen pain mainly all under left rib down left side / spasms (feel like my whole stomach is bein squeezed real tight) / extreme tiredness / lots off bubbling & gurgling in stomach / lost a lot of weight / no appetite at times/ constipation / yellow mucus in stools :blush:

But this is really getting me down now, I've been A&E / docs etc all back and forth this past two weeks with this awful pain they just kept sending me home given me all bloods / scans / X-ray /examination and so on..

Finally I seen a surgeon doc in A&E last night who finally said I have colitis
But I thought you HAVE to have dirrhea with colitis and blood in stools? So now am confused

How did they diagnose you?

Hi katki. Docs looked at my history/ bloods/scans etc and then said colitis am having colonoscopy and endoscopy on fri to see how bad or not it is .ive been suffering on/off for 6years now just feel like food getting stuck u under left rib and down left side ive hardly ate with this feeling. Losing lots of weight its really getting me down :(
