Feel like something is in my throat

Feels like there is mucus in the throat i am constantly clearing my throat by coughing and its unsatisfying due to i can't cough anything up....

I personally feel like i want to put my hand down my throat and drag up what ever is there....

It also feels like i cant breath properly because of the feeling something is in the/my throat.....

It's caused by anxiety, called globus sensation. It also can be post nasal drip but nothing to worry about. I have the same, after getting checked by two Ent specialists, I stopped worrying, it bothers me sometimes but I think I just got used to it.

i've had the exact same thing for ages, it comes and goes but i've been reassured that is is anxiety and if i take my mind off it it totally gets better :)

Same thing is happening to me. It feels like there is something at the back of my throat and I get a gagging sensation. But it isn't there all the time and gets worse when I focus on it. I think it is anxiety like others have said.
