Palpatations and Jumping?

So I always get random tiny palpatations, usually if I've have a stressful day or have had lots of caffine!

I get palpatations and my natural reaction is to jump or jerk, does anyone else do or get this?

Yeah, I suddenly sit up, slightly startled.

I do. I have ectopic beats and when they occur my whole body jumps. Usually because my anxiety is at a level that I feel everything and the shock makes my body move. I had an ECG and the cardiologist couldn't understand how come I could physically respond to them, but nevertheless I do. I don't get them all the time but when I do it's horrible. I also stopped caffeine totally as they were adding to my palpitations.

Did your cardiologist explain any reason as to why possibly the body might react physically?
