As a disclaimer, i'm almost positive I have OCD. I weigh myself nearly every day, I'm constantly checking my body for stuff and I always think "if I do this, or if this happens, I'll get cancer. Cancer story on the TV? I have it. "

Now, my most recent fear has been lymphoma. I've got a few palpable lymph nodes in my groin. They're moveable and within the normal size for the groin (less than 3cm) and have been swollen since September, maybe sooner, and have not grown. I've also got a cluster of em under my jaw that I've started poking at recently and it has swollen. I do sweat sometimes at night, but it's on and off. All these "buts" yet I'm still worried. My aunt recently died of Leukemia and ever since then I have been worried about my health. I just can't stop. I keep thinking I won't be alive next year. :(

Hi Strovbe, sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, and I'm sorry to hear about the death of your aunt. Have you been to see a doctor about your concerns? They know their stuff ;) especially when it comes to deciphering cancer symptoms. GPs are the gateway to other specialists and health providers, so they have a fairly grounded knowledge about many illnesses and diseases. If your doctor has seen you and isn't concerned, especially if they have completed blood tests, it would be a pretty good indicator that you don't have leukemia :)

Try finding peace in the word of god. He has the answers you are looking for. Say a prayer and you are on the road to recovery. The bible has all the comfort you need as Jesus loves you and went through immense suffering for us!

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
