View Full Version : Should my anxiety stop me getting a job?

Is it really possible for me to sort my life out? I've been getting so fed up with not leading a normal life, so this year i've decided is the year things will either change or, if not, i'll just give up.

One of the things on my list is to see if I can get a job. I suffer from very extreme anxiety, panic attacks, agoiraphobia, etc etc. Simply going out is a struggle. However, i don't see why I should be discriminated against (either by employers or by myself).

Over the next two weeks, i'm going to give everything to getting a job offer. To document my progress i've started a video diary, which you can follow me:

You cannot give up. List the assets you have in your life, be thankful for them.

I would try to get that job, it will give you some self value. People will need you.

Find the value you have and be positive about it!

Very best of luck to you!

Have you considered voluntary work? No pressure and it doesn't affect your benefits if you work just a bit.
