eye twitch whenver i take diazepam

hi I don't rely on benzo prob take 5 a month but whenever I have even a low dose I could swear it coincides with my eyebrow area twitching over the following couple of days anyone else? its annoying

Throughout my life I occassionally get eye twitches (normally top part of my left eye) when I'm particularly tired or sleep deprived. I've not had any in a while but this week I started a new job and have started taking very small doses of diazepam for the first few days to get me through (1mg in the morning and 1mg in the afternoon). I noticed in a meeting on the third day that the lower lid of my left eye was twitching LOADS. I think it could be two things. Either it's part of the sedative effects of diazepam making you a bit tired and causing twitching, or you are just tired anyway due to whatever stress/anxiety is causing you to want to take diazepam. Maybe try and get more sleep or do some relaxation exercises. If it persists or is worrying you though you should see your doctor.
