Diazepam prior to surgery, when should I take it?

I'm having Abdominoplasty surgery next week, my Dr gave me 10mg of Diazepam to take the night before surgery and the morning of surgery so that I'm calm when I get to the surgery center. I have to arrive at 745am and surgery is at 9:15. I'm horrible with the IV's going in and I know I will be out of my mind with anxiety that morning. What time should I take my 10mg of Diazepam that morning? I want it to be in full effect up till 915/930am.

From my experience half an hour before your surgery. If you tell them at the hospital on you arrival they will tell you when to take the diazepam, Good Luck!
