Hi guys

I am going away on Sunday night withy partner to York for his birthday it's a 2 hour drive from where we live.

I'm terrified mainly because

* being away from my son
* not having the comfort of my home
* not having my dad there if I need him (I'm bloody 26 for god sake!)

My main fear is being away from my son he is 7, I can cope
If he's at my mum or dads as they r not far away but being two hours away scared the sh*t out of me, as 1 I'm scared I will die and won't get to say goodbye to him and tell him how much I love him and 2 that something might happen to him and I won't get back in time!

My health anxiety has and always will stem around my son, I am terrified of leaving him and vice verser.

My partner and I have never been away for a night we have been together for 10 yrs, so long overdue and I really don't want to spoil it with worrying and having panic attacks, anyone got any wise words x

Concentrate on having a good time, you deserve it! Completely immerse yourself in every single second. Two days is next to nothing. I hope you have the best time. You can do this :hugs:
