Hey all, I've been trying quite hard to not come in here as often.
Health anxiety... has been challenging but I have been trying super hard to stay focussed on other things and to take one day at a time.
So, I got my referral for gastro and I have appointment on the 16th Feb. I am nervous, I have no idea what to expect! My stomach has been worst in the last couple weeks so my mind is going to that dark (bowel cancer) place.
My boyfriends platelets - he went for second blood test, and they came back at 111 (dropped from 127). He had another test done a month after and I'm unsure what results were but doc said that his platelets were stable, albiet low. She said they would probably retest in 6/12 (I don't even know what that means, it's in a text message!) I didn't ask for numbers cause am trusting that the doc isn't worried so I should not be worried! I am of course, still worried.
So, that's my life at the moment.
