hi, i have had hypo for a year and everythings been tough. but i found some lumps and bumps in the back wall of my throat since last week. this particular lump stretchs from the middle wall of the wall of the throat and down and it turns white when i try and look further down my throat. these other bumps look like normal color of the back of the throat, but its just this long ovalish lump that stretchs from the middle of my throat down that will turn white when I try to look deeper. im super terrified that its the TC, but i dont smoke or drink and im just 19. i dont feel any other pain/symptoms but just like a swelling feeling in my throat/ maybe globus. has anyone else had or experienced whatever im experiencing right now?

Are they your tonsils???

Not sure too much about throats but tonsils are at the back of the throat??

I've just looked at the back of my throat and I also have two ovalish lumps either side at the back of my throat,.. Definitely tonsils

And if you mean the back wall of your throat, then this is the natural muscle structure - our throats aren't perfectly smooth as they're made of incredibly strong muscles that power the swallowing process.

Hope this helps!

no unfortunately, not my tonsils, but like past that towards the back of your throat

well i found out a part of the problem i had. i have four red streaks going down my throat and i found out that its just the fold of my throat. when i dont stretch it the throat sort of "closes together" in a way. but i still have that red bump/lumps in the middle of my throat, which puzzles and scares me...
