I woke up from a very long sleep this morning my eyes was blurry and all I could see was the light from my curtains it was so bright and white I was gulping for air like no air was getting in this lasted what felt a whole 5 minutes I'm thinking it was only 1 minute at the most but in the time I must of been gulping gasping about 30 times before I could finally see and also then breathe about 20 seconds after been able to see I can't remember sitting up in my bed either it's like I must of jolted up and gasped I did have a panic attack 2 hours before I managed to fall asleep does this sound like a panic atatck while half asleep I'm very jumpy today now

Yes if my anxiety is bad I often wake up gasping for breath! Terrifying and not much you can do but remind yourself it's just anxiety again ;:(
