heart constantly racing day and night

Is this normal guys? Iv had 2 ecgs in the last few weeks all normal the doctor did say my pulse was high but not dangerously high. Really cant seem to slow my heart rate down its thumping constantly. Did have a few ciders last night and about 3 hours sleep due to heart alracing. Any help at all id he extremly grateful.

A couple of weeks ago when I was in a full blown alcohol detox, my pulse was 133 sat at rest and my blood pressure was 192/128. The paramedics weren't overly concerned and it's since calmed down. I've had loads of ECG's that have come back normal, but I still freak out with palpitations so I know how scary it is, but if you've had normal results and your GP isn't concerned, then try to relax and trust what they're saying.
It's really, really hard but I honestly think you'll be okay. Hope this helps a bit :)
