Pain in rib cage.

So today it feels like a certain part of my rib cage is hurting. It's below the heart. It's not a severe pain. It's not very deep either. Just on the surface. There's no swelling or unusual bumps there.

Sounds like a muscle, unless you have damaged your rib in an accident? I have a rib muscle problem like this too. You might find it flairs up when you slouch in a certain way?

Yes that is what happens to me. Every once in a while there's pain above my stomach in the middle of my body right where the rib cages branch out.

don't think it's anything serious but you should judge whether it needs a doctor's attention

I get rib cage pain, does it hurt to the touch? I suffer from costochondritis, maybe look that up to see if that sounds familiar to what you're suffering with.
