Any Anti Anxiety Med gd for heart?

I have a fast heart rate does anyone know of any meds that are safe for heart, am going to be talking to my Dr tomorrow but thought someone might know.

Hi, he might put you on betablockers, they slow the heart rate but I'm sure there are others, discuss it with him.

I had the same and got given some meds and they worked great. No side effects other than a bit tired. I am sure your doc will recommend something. I am sure there are several available

Is your fast heart rate caused by anything other than anxiety? Some medications may slightly elevate or reduce heart rate, but it is unlikely it will change your basic heart rate anywhere near as much as anxiety does. If the meds work for you, you may notice one day that your heart rate stays close to normal more of the time as anxiety affects you less.
