as you may be aware i have been battling terrible anxiety around a massage i had which was non sexual but for whatever reason triggered my hiv anxiety. I have had an interim test which was negative and am awaiting for a more concrete result early next week. But, in the interim i have had the worst night sweats - waking up at 2am and just suddenly feeling terrible cold and sweaty. I dont seem to have a fever but i am shivery and sweaty. Is this common in health anxiety? I am discussing going on SSRIs with my doctor and also am in counselling. Something triggered with this incident and it just feels like I can't escape it and of course the fear of the sweating is making it worse.
