Carpet burn feeling?

Today I randomly started having the sensation on my right upper back of thigh beneath buttock of a carpet burn. It's like a fresh burn that's just newly happened feeling. On checking the area it is completely normal not red or anything which I would expect as I haven't hurt it in any way.

Has anyone else had this? Is it an anxiety symptom
Or maybe something else? 🙈

i have had this quite a few times. I get it anywhere on my body. As you say carpet burn feeling.

Dont no why we get it. I have been getting it since a child. Now 48. My son also gets it now and again. It will go in a couple of days.

Yes, I've had this too, generally in the Thigh area. It is Anxiety and I think it is a result of muscle twitching or nerve repair. It does go and it won't harm you. But, the worst thing you can do is massage that area, just leave it repair on it's own accord. :)

I started having this on my leg once in a while .. kept checking to see if i had hurt myself lol never found anything but it went away.
