View Full Version : BAD HEAD PAIN!!!
Hi all
Since I have been back from holiday I have been plauged by headache /migraine which was horrid but I coped and it went away after a day or so.
I had my second session of hypno on Tuesday and since then I have had a real bad pain in the back and right side of my head plus on the right side going down my neck. I have never experienced this pain in the side of my head before so it's really worrying me. and making me panic! [xx(]
This morning it felt a bit easier then I did all the house work and the pains come back really strong again. Feels like my brain want to explode! Not that theres much to explode mind LOL! Not sure if its a migraine or a strain or what it is?
Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or what it could be?
Thanks
Take Care

Hiya Pips
Sorry to hear you are suffering.
I once had a really bad headache and went to the chemist cos I had it for a week. They gave me something called Midrid - not sure if that will help you.
She did say that if I had a headache that long I should see doc - but mine went not long afterwards.
If you are worried, can you call to see doc tomorrow - put your mind at rest?
Take care mate ok?
xx

Hi Pips
Sorry to hear you still have your headache. Could be due to stress or tension, or maybe you have pulled a muscle.
Best get it checked out with the doctor if only to reassure you.
Hope work goes ok tomorrow if you are fit enough.
Speak soon.

Don't worry Pip, tumours almost never hurt and headaches are not a common symptom of them. I'm sure it'll be a muscle thing and have you had your eyes checked recently?

Thanks Again Scooter, Sal and Emily for your kind words!
I am sure it probably is muscular but me being me I worry far to much and I always blow everthing out of preportion LOL!
I had my eyes checked about a year and a half ago and all was well. I just seem to be geting more headaches then I ever used to. Not sure why really? Could be a number of factors I suppose?
Take care All

Pip,
If it is muscular in nature from your neck then a massage will really ease it . Did you manage to sleep propped up and crookedly on the plane home .
Check that you're not clenching or grinding your teeth .
If its is still persistant then do go and get it checked out
Meg
Anxiety is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind.
If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained.

Hi Pips
How are you feeling now? I hope the headache has worn off or is slightly better.
Let me know how you are doing hon.
Lots of love Sal xxxxx
Thanks Meg & Sal,
I didn't really sleep that much on the plane really. I suppose the bit I did wasn't the most comfortable though.
The pain is very strong on the right side at the back of my neck plus still getting headaches with it. Its hard to tell what it is though! If it is muscular can that make your head ache as well? I haven't been doing the teeth thing to my knowledge!
Hope you are well Meg,
Take care

Hi Meg Nic & Scooter,
Thank you so much for your replys.
The pain in my head is a easier now thanks.
It just seems to be persistant in the right side of my neck. It's strange though when I wake up in the morning it's fine neck just feels a bit stiff. As soon as I start moving around and doing things etc... the pain comes back quite strong. I'm not sure if doing weights at the gym could have caused it?
I promise though I will go to the Drs if it continues. I just feel very paranoid and uncomfotable about going. I will be brave and go though as this pain is driving me nuts!
Thanks again for all your concern in means alot!
I hope you are all well
Take care
