Symptoms waking me up at night

I've been waking up in the middle of the night for a week with strange sensations. Whether it's a numb (but not actually numb!) feeling down the side of my neck, in the side of my head or the worst - a feeling of painless pressure against my right temple made worse by panic, I become really anxious because I live by myself, and I panic more thinking I might have to call somebody and wake them up. Has anybody else's obsession with a symptom/fear had it wake them up in the night? Or experienced this temple pressure?

I'd be more surprised if I didn't wake up numb somewhere at various times of the night :)
