UTI - Urethra Pain/Feeling Sore

For those that have had a UTI....... Day 3 of antibiotics.......... the burning is better but I feel I have a sore urethra, it feels painful, sort of irritated. Has anyone experienced this? It is on and off during the day.

Yes, it's a normal symptom of UTI that will resolve as the antibiotics clear it up. I've had it where it spasms, very painful :( Once you are done the antibiotics, do start a course of probiotics to replace the good bacteria, and you'll be right as rain again afterwards! (Has your doc suggested something natural ongoing, like daily yogurt? I find if I don't do that, I will develop a yeast infection due to the kill off.) It is generally recommended to take a probiotic after any course of antibiotics, but of course you may want to run that by your doctor :)
