throat issues

hello all , the last few mornings i have woken up to a sort of throat spasm and have to take a gulp of air if that makes sense ?? and have to make myself swallow , am i stopping breathing and thats whats waking me ??? it only happens when i wake up and never any other time of day so stressed and dont want to go to sleep

The same thing with me constantly waking up in the middle of the night. I have difficulty swallowing but no pain hope all is well with you.
