Two mouth ulcers in one month :((

Hi guys,

I have had a very rough month with health anxiety due to developing IBS type symptoms that I am worried could be Crohns.

I had a blood test which was fine but I'm waiting in the specialised stool test still.

When I statted citalopram and diazepam my symptoms got a lot better however, when this all started I had a mouth ulcer that lasted a week, and today I have just woken up with another in a different spot.

I am now again terrified of Crohn's because I know mouth ulcers are a symptom :(

Well I just went to see a dentist who said that this ulcer does not look like an ulcer you would get with crohns disease. There was me thinking all ulcers were the same. She said she couldn't promose it wouldn't change but that there's currently nothing to suggest it looked sinister and that I did look run down and stress is a known cause, along with possible oncoming colds.

I am mostly reassured because she seemed to have a lot of specific knowledge in that area, but part of my brain just can't let go of the little factoid "crohns patients often present with multiple mouth ulcers".
