Anxiety and menopause

I've been reading posts on this forum for some time now but this is my first post,so it may be n the wrong place. I wondered if anyone has had any problems with increased anxiety and the menopause. I have kept my anxiety under control for many years through 20mg of Citalopram, but have had 2 huge setbacks over the last 2 years. I am currently off work wondering if my dose increase to 40mg (after 6 weeks on 30mg) is ever going to kick in. Any thoughts?
