I think you know what I'm going to say hun, Diazepam!! I've took propranolol and it's just not as effective for me as 2mg of Diazepam is. Whilst your going thro the side effects of the sertraline you need some help with the anxiety and that's usually the time Diazepam is prescribed. When I increased my ven I was climbing the walls so my Gp told me to take 3 x 2mg a day and it helped, it's only a small dose but it took the edge off XX

Hey Nic, Yeh after a rubbish day today and taking propanolol this morning which didn't do alot I took 2mg of diazepam an hr ago and feel much improved.
Hoping today would of been ok after a good day yesterday, oh well!
Had to come home from work with really bad nausea and palpitations that just wouldn't go! :(

Definitely diazepam! Propanolol had absolutely no effect on my anxiety.

Used for limited periods diazepam gives you much needed respite from severe unrelenting anxiety which is unbearable and stops you functioning.

Yep use your Diazepam to help you hun, 2mg is a low dose so don't worry about it, you need a break from the side effects and that's exactly why Diazepam is prescribed, i really didn't want to have to rely on it but my Gp assured me it was fine whilst my body and brain was adjusting to the meds and to just take it to get some respite. I tried taking a propranolol but to be honest it did bugger all apart from give me nightmares XX
