Physical and Mental health & Jury service

I don't know where to write this, sorry.

I believe I will be called for Jury service and I need advice as I have multiple health issues. Both physical and mental including anxieties which are made worse by the physical health symptoms.

I'm pretty much housebound. Only go out once a year for Christmas, which is a huge upheaval for me.

How on earth am I suppose to cope with possible JS ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

If there is a possibility you will be called for jury service, you will get a form in the post. You then have the opportunity to get a doctor's letter which will let you off. No worries.

I had this a couple of years ago and they now ask you to declare any mental health conditions so they can decide whether you are fit to continue. I just put that I had GAD and was under treatment of a GP and I received a letter stating I was excluded on those grounds.

They say a GP letter may be needed on the form but I wasn't asked to provide anything.

I seriously doubt you will have to continue through the process once you inform them off your condition.
