Citalopram

Hi all, I have been on citalopram for 12 years now and they up and down my dose per my anxiety levels. At the moment I wake every day with a feeling in the pit of my stomach and feel sick, I cannot function on a daily basis and they have put me on 3x2mg of diazepam also. Do you think the citalopram still has same effects after 12 years!

I think you should ask for something else especially if you're need diazepam. In my opinion drugs becomes less effective the longer you're on something. Go to your docs and explain the situation and say you'd like to try something else, don't let them fob you off. It might feel a bit worse for a while but you should feel better than you do now once the new drug starts working. :hugs:

Thanks spam, I normally can function fine it just takes something to happen in my life that is stressfull and I go like this but for some reason it is really really bad during the day but by nighttime my symptons are gone, strange?
