Neck Tendons

Hi there, It's been a while since I posted here and am getting on relatively well, something has just come up that has got me really worried.

When I tense my neck muscles so the tendons show, only the left side tendons seem to move, the right side barely move at all, just wondering if anyone else has this, it's got me worried about degenerative conditions as my right side neck muscles have gotten weaker.
