For a good while now I've been unable to walk anywhere without my bike. Without my bike I can't even get to the Co-op, which is 30 seconds from my house. I was thinking this must be one of the strangest safety behaviours!
If I panic I can ride home or to safety quickly and not worry about heart attacks, like I would if i ran. I know i shouldn't encourage safety behaviours but if any one really needs to have something to hold on to etc I can recommend it, as a crutch if you like. At least it gives a bit of freedom for me. :)
