I'm very worried that it's a tumor. Please look at the picture and tell me if anyone has something similar. I'm referring to the bump on the thing that connects my tongue to my mouth

I have the exact same thing. Thats a normal structure connected to your tongue. If I remember my anatomy thats called the frenulum. Your fine.

Every body has one of those lol it's called a tongue !!!!

The frenum (lingual frenulum) is the strand running upwards. The part where you think you have a lump is a gland/duct orifice site. So, if you find it enlarging or getting harder, consider the same things as those who have enlarged gland/lymph nodes..in other words they naturally swell as part of the bodies immune system function when they detect localised infection.

If its always been like that, don't worry either. Mines similiar.

I'm not a doctor, but I am fairly sure that is a tongue.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess it was a kind of silly thing to be worried about, but my anxiety was particularly bad last night. Thanks for the reassurance!
