I am scared to death that I might have a blood clot

Hello all I am 26 years old and today I have this weird pain that wont go away behind my leg in between the thigh and lower leg. I am looking to see if there is swelling but I cant tell looking and or feeling. I have however been on birth control for 11 years and I have never had any complications before. I dont want to die.. But I also dont want to live like this either. Please can anyone help me?

Goto doctor have a ddimer blood test ...this will show if you have a blood clot ...
I believe these are very accurate blood test ... If negative ...it is very very unlikely to be a blood clot

Hello, i went through a period of time thinking I had a blood clot. I was convinced I had one even though I didn't display any other symptoms (redness, swelling, etc.); i just had pain. I went to the emergency room because I was so afraid, they did an ultrasound, and there was no blood clot. An ultrasound can tell you if there is one or not.
