so worried about buttock pain

Hi, for the past couple of days I have been having buttock pain on my left cheek some one inch from my butt crack. Pain is mainly when I sit down or lay down on my buttock and when I tense my buttock muscles. Do you think this could be related to some cancer as I am really scared and feeling hard to cope.

Please advise.

Well I'm no doctor but it sounds more like a trapped nerve or pulled muscle..... when you move in certain ways you are either putting pressure on a nerve or stretching some injured tissue.

If it were a tumour then there would be constant pressure and pain that got worse over time.
