Hi everyone,

I am a 23 year old female, I am a university student who suffers from severe anxiety. Health anxiety is new to me and extremely debilitating. It is safe to say that is ruining my life.

This forum as thus far provided me with solace. It is nice to see fellow twitchers.

Here are my scary symptoms:

Cramping in hands, feet, arms, legs
feeling weak in arms and legs and hands in knees and arms- however I have no loss of functionality I can still write, turn keys, lift things, walk ect.
TWITCHING- ENDLESSLY- EVERYWHERE

I have a neuro appointment in a month, but I am having such great fear.

Could this be anxiety? Does this sound like ALS?

Any help is appreciated!
xx

Best,

Lilly

Hi and Welcome,

I don't know what ALS is, but it sounds like the classic symptoms of the Panic Attacks I have had. I felt like somebody had me plugged into an electrical outlet for weeks on end when it first started. The numbness and cramping of hands/arms legs/feet and even my mouth around my lips was endless. Good news is it did go away once I stopped giving it attention after the second trip to hospital. Good luck and let all of us know how you're doing. :hugs:
