Hello. My name is Susan and I'm from Arizona.

I have some pretty bad anxiety problems coupled with super horrific panic attacks from time to time and OCD, which I have conned myself into believing I have under control.

It's good to see that there could be people that understand me because people rarely do. Doctors rarely even try to understand. Sometimes I want to scream, "I have no control over this!! I am not making this happen!!" :)

You don't want to hear more...I could go on and on and on... :)

Anyway, I'm just going to lurk around and see what I can learn. Thanks for letting me be around.

Hi, Susan from Arizona.

I'm Randy from Kentucky. Nice to meet you. I am new here as well, and am happy to make your acquaintance. I suffer from panic, anxiety, and depression and my daughter also has OCD problems, too. It is not unusual for her to wash her hands 30 or more times a day.

Take care.

Welcome Susan,

I'm sure you'll get great support from the forum and find it as interesting and illuminating as I do, it's been an invaluable tool in my recovery and even though I'm feeling more like my old self, I'll continue to support the many people in here who've been so generous with their advice, insight and compassion.

You'll always find someone here who understands what you're going through.

And just think, when things are at their worst, it could be even worse .... you could have a chinchilla phobia!!!;)

Happiness and light to all,

I saw her once, one little while, and then no more:
’Twas Eden’s light on Earth a while, and then no more.
Amid the throng she passed along the meadow-floor:
Spring seemed to smile on Earth awhile, and then no more;
But whence she came, which way she went, what garb she wore
I noted not; I gazed a while, and then no more!
