Did anyone see this programme today, basicly this women had a phobia of being sick, she was introduced to another women that had overcome her fears,with cbt, was is this and has anyone here found that it has cured them i will try anything ,i want my life back!!.

Hiya
CBT is cognitive behaviour therapy, it is a talking therapy and the basic idea is to change your thought patterns. I have been having it for a few months now and its definitly not an instant cure but it is helping me. It is available on the nhs, your gp can refer you or you can see a therapist privately. Hope this helps a bit
