Painful Lipoma

I have a lipoma back of my next near the top on spine area. It is painful when I roll my shoulders or move my shoulders up and down. I've heard that lipomas should not be painful. Has anyone else had painful lipomas?

I have a lipoma at least thats what im told it is on my rib where underwire is mines tender somedays too

A lipoma can be painful, but it's at this point you should ask your doctor if it can be removed, as lipomas should only be left in place if they aren't causing pain or discomfort.
