Hi,
I am freaking out for my son who is 10, I took him to the doctors yesterday as he has a small pin head lump over his femoral artery in the crease of his groin/leg , I thought it was a lymph node as a couple of weeks ago he had a one on his other side but that's since gone away.
The doctor said not to worry to much (which for me is pointless saying) and that he didn't think it was a gland, infact he said it was more girstly and it moved which was good. He said he was going to measure it but as it was so small it was pointless.
I only have to go back if it stops moving, grows or any other changes occur.
I am so worried that it's something sinister and have been trying to google what other lumps it could be.
He said it wasn't a hernia so I can rule that out.
Anyone heard of a gristly lump?
