Hi everyone
This is my first time on an anxiety forum, I'm not sure why I've never thought of joining one before!
I'm 27 years old and have been suffering with anxiety in some form since I can remember, this has also been coupled with depression.
I was on anti anti anxiety meds and then anti depressants for about 6 years, and after feeling numb for most of that, decided to come off them (cold turkey - silly!) about a year ago.
This year has been up and down and I really have struggled, but after about 5 months of therapy I feel that I'm starting to understand myself, which feels like a big step into feeling better (and maybe one day getting better!)
I don't know anyone who suffers with anxiety, so I'm coming here to speak to like minded people who I don't have to "pretend" around.
