Hi Guys

Just wondered if anyone can answer a question for me???

I have suffered panic attacks for years and I am mostly cured now bit one of my main symptoms was dizzyness and head swimming well today I was watching tv and feeling ok then suddenly I felt dizzy and BANG out of nowhere came a bad panic attack that seemed to be caused by a momentry dizzy spell!!!!

Luckily I was able to see it off rapidly with a few squirts of rescue spray and some EFT!!!!

I just wondered if anyone else has had similar symptoms and has then paniced because they associated the symptom with what they experienced when having a panic attack????

Hope this makes sense!!!!!

Actually Kaz I've swung my head round occassionally too fast and made myself dizzy to the point I thought I was gonna fall over, the sudden scare did indeed make me feel very panicky!!

"Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?" said Piglet.
"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

Hi Kazzie,

I think what you described is quite common and some panic attacks can be triggered purely through remembering what happened when we had a symptom previously. In the past your dizzyness may have been your anxiety but non anxious people get the odd dizzy spells too for a variety of reasons. It could just be that your mind associated feeling dizzy (even subconsciously) with previous panic and therefore led to panic.

Anyway sounds like you coped with it really well so well done.
