I came to this forum after reading a post by a woman experiencing problems after having a Mirena IUD inserted. The return of the use of Intrauterine Devices (IUD) has caused harm to many women. The Mirena is the newest IUD. It has helped some women who have conditions that are helped by the progesterone released by the Mirena. It has also caused many problems when it has dislodged from the cervix and become embedded in the uterus, such as pain and infection.
