Do any of you get this bloated gassy feeling from belly button down that feels worse with pants pressing against it?

hi scaredgirl,

yes I can definitely relate to this feeling I get it a lot, I've read lots of others who suffer from it too on other IBS sites
it's just part of the illness unfortunately :(

Yes definitely.

A few weeks ago my stomach felt so bloated and gassy I think if I'd pricked it with a pin I would have flown round the room like a deflating balloon.

No exaggeration sometimes it's horrendous and I have to wear elasticated waists as I can't stand the pressure of zips and buttons.

Yep I get that a lot. Sometimes I will wake up in the morning like that even when I haven't eaten!
