2 weeks ago she was feeling unwell sore throat etc and Dr gave antibiotic. 1week later she has come out in a terrible itchy red rash. We had to go to a&e twice for IV meds to help the itching and inflammation. She should never have had the antibiotic as it reacts with the virus that causes the glandular fever. She has to have steroids and antihistamines but nothing is helping. We have tried every lotion and cream to help the itching. She is so miserable, crying and just wants to sleep. She is 19. She is already on antidepressants and I am so worried she is going to get even more depressed. I don't know how to help her. What can we do ? Please help
