I would love to talk to someone while starting. I'm a mess. I guess we are all scared when we start these meds..as I've read all other med forums, each person seems scared when starting. I am starting the generic Paxil 10mg a day, divided by 5mg morning and evening. So scared, but the way I'm living now is now working either. I am having to take xanax to get through the day and I know that is not good either. Anyone that can offer a little support? I read all the horror stories about it so now my mind is a mess :(

I am in the UK and I'm pretty sure this drug is not prescribed any more ,even to adults, this because so many people were trying to sue GSK. Do not take this drug or any other SSRI,
feel free to talk any time

I too am currently taking 10 mill of paxil( have been for over three weeks) it's a super low dose and I didn't have many side effects. My dr wanted to take it slow before he ups my dose so I don't end up like I did on Zoloft and prozac(started on a way too high of dose)! Hang in there.. It's a slow process and hopefully this med will work for you. I personally haven't seen any difference yet in my anxiety levels but I'm hoping once my dose is raised then maybe things will turn around :)
