Mouth Ulcers - Oral Cancer Fear

Hello. About a week ago i had an ulcer come up on my lower gum but that seems to be healing now and a day after i got that one i got another one on upper gum well it feels like theres about three in virtually the same area and its so sore and doesnt seem to be healing yet and this evening feel like i have a bit of a cold in my throat. Im terrified this may be oral cancer. Do u think this is anything to worry about? anyone suffer from ulcers? Im really scared and freaking out.

From what my dentist has told me, something that doesn't heal within a few weeks should get checked out by a dentist, oftentimes just because it needs a prescription cream or whatever to get rid of it, not because it's cancerous.

I used to get ulcers a lot when I was run down or not getting enough sleep. I think they can be caused by dietary things etc- if one of them is already healing then I don't think it's anything that you need to be concerned about.
