Hi, I had a sinus CT scan done earlier this year due to my fear of having sinus cancer. It came up clear. Would a sinus CT scan definitely show a tumor?

Yes. The CT they did in the diagnosis of my H&N cancer showed the tumors.

Thanks again for your reply. Is it possible that the dr missed something when reviewing the results? Also, this is a bit unrelated, but I have swollen lymph nodes under my jaw. I think it's my submandibular glands. Are these supposed to be very big/long?

My mother in law is an xray technician and at this day and age the machines they use are wonderful. Radiologist and oncologists know what to look for they have certain "red flags" that they look for so trust your dr.
