So I've recently been diagnosed with gastritis. And I think it's due to stress. My mother was just diagnosed with cancer and it's affecting me a lot.
I'm taking omeprazole and my diet is good. I don't smoke or drink.
I am also very stressed because I'm going to Spain in 11 days for 2 and half months. And I've been looking forward to it for over a year! So I don't want to be like this when I go.
I'm not vomiting.. there is no blood and my breath is fine. The main problem is stomach pain. I wake up with it and it often get worse after meals.
What I'm thinking is... Isn't it likely that I have acute rather than chronic gastritis? And how long do you think it will take me to heal from stress-induced gastritis ?
