Pelvix/ lower back xray resuls

I had a panel vic/ lower back xray last Friday and am anxious Austin results the docter sent me to put my mind at rest but I think us axiety sufferes find it most hard waitin f or results when do u normally hear about results would I hear sooner rather than later if it was bad?

I think you should try and relax. Anything out of the ordinary I'm sure they would inform you very quickly ��

Apparently it takes a week to get from down the corridor to the docter hard to believe really

I've been waiting for an ultrasound on my thyroid for 4 months now so I'd be happy to wait a couple of weeks for results from an xray! Be patient and yes highly likely they would have whizzed your results through if anything obviously wrong. :)

Yes, if anything is flagged it would get back to you very quickly. If its slow, its usually a good sign.

The reason it will be slow is because you are in a queue with others and then they will be processing urgent results for inpatients. This is why x-rays that show nothing or only lesser things are slow to get back to your primary care doctors of GP's.

I work in a GP surgery and I can assure you that if anything was seriously amiss your result would be fast tracked back to GP immediately and you would have already been referred under the two week rule so the fact that you have not heard is a good sign.
