View Full Version : Tension pains
Everyone gets tension pains of some kind. I am suffering with strange aches all across my back and shoulders.
Does anyone else have strange aches and pains?
What are people doing to try and overcome them?
Hi Gray,
I have tension pains constantly. Back shoulders and arms are mostly effected and legs sometimes too. I guess if our minds would stop going into overdrive our poor bodies would get a rest.

I have been backwards and forwards to docs and am getting aches and pains in sides back and shoulders and chest.
Doc does not seem concerned but it's scaring the hell out of me!
Hi Gray,
If you read some of my earlier posts you will see I've had the side pain also. Pm me anytime if you wanna chat. xx

Unfortunately muscle tension and aches and pains are all part of the deal with depression and anxiety. Most people think of depression and anxiety as being an emotion but it manifests itself in a very physical way.

Hi..
I have upper body pains a lot with anxiety, especially shoulders, back, head and arms.
It is all part and parcel of this illness.....unfortunately!

Hello,
I have pains all over the place, particularly the back, neck and shoulders. I have found yoga really helpful in distracting me from the pains, stretching the body and practising meditation to also distract me - it does work, honest!
