Palpable lymph nodes (I know...)

So I know this comes up a lot on here but I just wanted to ask... I'm not in full panic mode about this but I just need a bit of reassurance that I am normal lol.

On the outer part of each pec (on the chest), I can feel lots of small lymph nodes on each side. Is this normal? I work out a lot so have bigger pec muscles than average... would this make them more palpable? I can feel loads of them on each side... :/

These are the axillary lymph nodes, there are around 20-30 of them all in. Assuming it is actually lymph nodes you're feeling and not muscular knots, they're only abnormal if they're considerably larger than other nodes in the area or if they are hard and painless.

My advice is to stop looking for lumps. Nodes are everywhere, if you look you'll find them and an anxious mind doesn't tell you they're nodes.

Well I mean, none of them are particular big, but they are all painless? In the sense that I probably could make them hurt if I pushed hard enough lol but I'm not doing that... I think some of what I'm feeling is the actual muscle itself...

I don't know why I got into this feeling for nodes thing... I think I accidentally felt one or two last week and since then I just keep feeling around.... FFS...
