I'm 17 years old, I think I started getting this since I was 13 or 14, It worries me from time to time, anxiety makes it worse obviously, actually I remember once worrying a lot over it, I would get it almost everyday and I was sure it was something serious and then I found something else "unusual" on my body and I 'switched' my worry to another point of my body (You guys will understand what I mean by that). Well, the heartburn completely dissapeared... It happens every now and then and again, it gets worse with anxiety.
Can someone give me some tips on how to prevent it or treat it please?

Hi there,

The easiest way to treat it is to figure out what foods trigger it and stop eating them. You can also try antacids but you shouldn't take them for too long.

A glass of really cold water, drunk slowly but in one go helps me. Nevertheless, you should get your dr to check it out if you're able as it could be reflux too, which they'd want to give you something a little stronger for (as is my current situation).
